So, I finally got my upgraded ring (2.06ct, G-VVS2) today on a 5mm wide band it looks beautiful. I have no regrets choosing a wide band. Below are some pics.

It's beautiful!! I like the look of the wide band!

Gorgeous! It's a nice width. Doesn't detract from the stone but nice and weighty on the finger. I prefer heavier/wider bands any day :) Congrats!

its beautiful
i too am a fan if a wider band
well done

Beautiful!!! So glad you are happy too. Enjoy it!

Looks awesome!

Very pretty - glad you love it! The wider band does not seem to swallow up the diamond as you had feared!

Beautiful! Congratulations. :appl:

You should ask the mods to move this to Show Me the Bling where it will garner many more responses. Just hit report concern and ask for it to be moved.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, the thickness of the band doesn't swallow the diamond and it looks so stable and weighty and I love it.

Congrats! Glad you are loving the thicker band...bands got so thin for a while it was crazy!

@sspp08 I love your new ring!! It’s beautiful. I love thicker bands too and have one myself. That diamond sure does shine and fits the setting so well. Congrats!

thank you everyone for the likes and comments. Now I am in the process of getting a wedding ring next to it. I am looking for a 5 stone, 7 stone or eternity band. Not able to decide which one to pick. I want something that I can wear solo as well not just with my ering all the time. Cant picture how wide should a ring be to look good as a solo. Need suggestions and some pics to decide
