So I recently went to Tbilisi, Georgia and as with all my trips I just had to find a unique piece of jewellery from there to keep as a souvenir.

Georgia is well known for delicate enamel work in silver jewellery so I couldn't resist buying just too many! They are incredibly colourful so I thought I'd share them as well as some other finds ! :)

Would love to hear your thoughts !

So pretty! And there is so much skill in doing enamel well. I love the 2nd pair from the top. I have a pin and earrings from Georgia in the same craft featuring a dragon. Always admired the ‘look’ of these. Thanks for sharing! So interesting!

So beautiful and the enamel work is gorgeous! :kiss2:

Very pretty. This is like cloisonne I think, also involving enamel. The first pair is unusual, reminds me of the sea.

The second is my favourite too! It's my everyday earring now despite all the CS I have. I find it to be subtle but colourful - great with casuals and great to pair up with a bright CS ring to have some sort of balance!

Do share your Georgia piece too!

Yes exactly ! And some artists have taken their skill to an incredible level. I saw pieces in artsy shops for a whole of moolah! There's no end to how intricate the skill can be.

The first pair was I admit the most expensive one too because it was a bit more abstract than others and a bit more fine. It reminds me of the ocean too. So glad you like it:)

Ok, here they are! These remind me of stained glass.

Wow i love yours! Really very intricate. Must have been hard to find! I did a lot of hunting in Tbilisi and didn't ever see a set like yours...

I have to say I love dragons now!

Thank you! These are quite old, maybe 25 years old. Maybe themes have changed somewhat since then.

Wow 25 years! They look incredible.

Well it's definitely much more commercial now. Lots of shops and lots of simple designs and lots and lots of duplicates. Even mine though relatively simple took a lot of scouring :)

Gorgeous!

The first ones are my favorite. All the colors are really pretty. What a nice collection!

I was in Georgia a few years ago and saw this style of jewelry at shops and markets. It was not cheap and very pretty.

Wow beautiful! I have never appreciated enamel work until just now!

I bought it in the flea market!

This is some of the prettiest enamelwork I've ever seen! I would buy it in a heartbeat if I were in Georgia. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pieces, Gemobsessed and Bluegemz :-)
