First attempt at a color palette/inspiration board...

Here''s what I''m thinking color wise for our wedding which is tentatively next July. What do you guys think? Too bright? Too out there? Suggestions and constructive criticism welcome.

Honestly . . . I really think it's gorgeous! Your color palette seems so vibrant and lively, and I like how you've included some natural elements. It made me smile

The dress seems like the "one of these things that is not like the others" piece. Do you have that dress already? I think it could fit in wonderfully with a gorgeous bouquet with some of the beautiful flowers you've posted here and a ribbon sash in a bolder color to match those wonderful natural elements you have on your board.

I don't have a dress already--I just love that one! If I did get it, I'd do a different color ribbon on it (one that matched the color scheme). Thanks so much for the complements!

Yeah--I'm thinking purple (on the blue-er end of the spectrum) and orange with green as an accent color.

And I'm excited about YOUR wedding!!! When are we going to see some pictures of your gorgeous dress????????

Well, purple is my favorite color and when I mentioned it to FI, he mentioned wanting to include an orange or rust and green. At first I couldn''t picture it but then I started messing around and ended up really loving it, especially for a summer wedding!

Blue and orange is definitely one of my favourite colour combos. I think it looks fantastic!

Oooooh! I love the bold colors! I think a purpleish blue and orange look WONDERFUL together! I was just driving down my street and saw that exact combination in an arrangement of flowers on the porch of a neighbor! It is stunning and a wonderful choice for a summery wedding!

I''m posting this pic ONLY for the flower bouguets the attendants are carrying. I love the bright orange lilies, they are really reasonably priced and work really well with purple accents. Throw some green in there if you want to, those lillies can handle a lot of texture and contrast. The purple drinks are really cool too, though.

Oh wow, LP, it's fabulous! It's such a unique pairing -- so happy and vibrant. Love it! I've been thinking about making an inspiration board too, but I seem to have so many ideas that I can't condense them to one cohesive look.

LaurenThePartier and tyty333, I am thinking of using irises and maybe lilies in the bouquet. I also would like to include sweet peas--they are my favorite flower. I am sure that once I get closer, I will be drawing on all of the flower experts on Pricescope to help me!

Gypsy, thanks for the input on flowers! I''ll save those to my pictures folder. Also, as I said above, once it gets a little closer I will definitely be asking for your help with figuring out specific flowers to use.

idreamofcushions, I found this site really helpful--it lets you search through a ton of images on flickr by color. That''s mostly what I used to make my board.
