Prior to contacting or purchasing our ring from Diamonds by Lauren I went into a couple jewelers where I live. None of them could provide a GIA report and I got the feeling they were selling for commission. Real pushy. I started researching jewelers on the internet. I saw a couple great reviews for Diamonds by Lauren but I also saw great technical posts from David at Diamonds by Lauren on various forums. My fiancée started to look at their web-site after I proposed to her with a temporary ring. She found a ring she really liked. I contacted David via e-mail on 12/26/13. He promptly got back to me first congratulating us. We happened to be in the City so I called David and asked if we could stop by. His wife answered the phone. Very polite and helpful. We didn't have time so we ended up not stopping by. David and I exchanged MANY e-mails. He always got back to me the same day. Being a business owner myself I can't say how great this was for me. The ring my fiancée picked out wasn't available. So we decided to do a custom platinum ring for her. David picked out a stone for us. E-mailed me pictures of the main stone and smaller side stones to get my approval. After that David got to work on the ring. A couple weeks passed while the ring was being made. David and I kept in contact all the time throughout this. When it was time to ship there was a big snow storm in NY. David called me and told me he suggested we wait a day. The following day David Next Day Air Early AM'd the ring. The packaging was great. The ring was great. The service was great. Diamonds by Lauren has our business for life.
