For some reason, this is making me really excited. I just got these to put into our gift bags:
I think we''re also going to add a few pieces of salt water taffy to each bag, and maybe the cookies that I wrote about last night. I do have one question (sorry so many!): The place that I ordered the jam from has a few free recipes on their website. Do you think it would be worthwhile to put together a little recipe book and put one in each bag? Do you think it would be used (potentially) or would it end up in the trash?

I think it would be super cute if you printed up a little booklet of recipes on some nice paper. just a little cute one, like 3"x3" or something, with 3 or 4 recipes for the blueberry jam that people may not have seen before!! you could punch a hole through the corner of the little booklet and tie it around the top of the jar with some cute ribbon...would be adorable :) i would save it just out of sheer cuteness!

Thanks Karasue! That''s kind of what I was thinking of doing. Nothing too elaborate but just a little something extra.

I agree, I think it''d be worthwhile. I''d think it was cool anyway. I love recipes! Very nice.

Ditto, I would love a cute little recipe book!

I think the recipe book would be super cute.

That''s a cute idea!

Zoe, good choice! I LOVE Stonewall Kitchen stuff! Drool...

Thanks everyone! I have one more question. In looking at the company''s recipes, they all call for way more jam than what I''m giving guests. That''s okay, right? The recipes are meant to compliment the jam and go along with the "theme" (well, blueberries aren''t our theme but we''re getting married in Maine).

Oooh, we got the same mini jams as a favor at a friends wedding and really really liked them. We didn''t need a recipe, we already know how to make toast!

You could put in the recipe and include the Stonewall Kitchen website (if it''s not already there).
