Hi guys,

Haven''t been on PS for a while as I''m so busy with work these days. I just have to report something that happened to me the other day. I was going to the bank to make a deposit. In this bank they have lovely lighting. As I was making the transaction, the teller took a look at my ring and said, "Wow, that is absolutely beautiful." I said thank you and she immediately had to compare her diamond with mine. I felt proud and at the same time a little embarrassed as I''m not one to flash things and show off. Of course, I had to tell her about PS and the internet vendors that are here. I told her (not the actual price as that would be really tacky) that one can get great deals on the net. She was convinced!

I hope I handled this okay as I was sincerly surprised by the attention.

Sparker, how is my fellow flutist friend doing?

Isn''t it nice to receive compliments?

Sometimes embarssing though, especially when they grab your hand, or if they tell others to come over and look too (that has happened to me). I sure you handled it gracefully knowing the classy lady you are.

Hi cflutist,

I am doing great although we are in the middle of the deep dark winter here in the north. Its about 5 degrees outside tonight. Yes, it was nice to receive such a nice compliment I must say. Haven''t experienced diamond shrinkage, yet and probably won''t. I still can''t believe I''m sporting such a nice stone.

That''s great Suzanne! I get a bit embarrassed when people comment on my stones, but I do usually say something about them being a great cut. I want to spread the news about the importance of cut!

Hi,

You are right, Patty. I should have mentioned that. I think that iss why mine is so sparkley and catches the eye so nicely despite the SI2 clarity rating.

How do you like my spelling of "is". Oh boy.
