Fixed the bezel... does it look better?

So I finally took my ring in to get the uneven bezel fixed. (The original thread can be read here.) I took it into BB&B and I thought it would be done the same day, but the jeweler brought it to the platinumsmith, and he said that he preferred I leave the ring. I didn''t think I''d have to leave it, but I wanted it fixed so I didn''t really mind... except for the fact that I had to part with my ring!

They didn''t tell me exactly how they did it, though they had mentioned previously about having to "shave the extra metal". I guess that''s why the bezel was uneven (the extra metal). I''m not sure...

I don''t know exactly how long it took to fix... they had me pick it up about four days later. Regardless, they fixed it without having to sending it to Ritani, which is nice. It''s not perfect, but looks MUCH better. What do you think?

I loved your ring before, but now it''s perfection!!! They did a great job fixing it. It''s such a beautiful ring. I am so glad they were able to fix it.

Well it definitely looks much better! I wish you had another close up like the "before" pic, but from what I can see, it''s much, much better! It''s sad that Ritani allowed the ring to be shipped back to you with such workmanskip though.

Wow chelle - it really looks amazing. I loved it before, but you can definitely see a difference in the bezel now...much more even at closer range. Still one of my favorites! Glad they fixed it in a relatively short time, and they did it well without any hassle.

Oh I forget who started the "ring in flower" pics... I remember seeing them though, and they were soooo beautiful! I think one of them had a hibiscus? Anyways, it''s a fabulous idea- diamonds and flowers are such a pretty combination.

Mara, I would LOVE to see your rings in some flower shots! Your new huge rock would look SO beautiful! Try it!!!

WOW, what an improvement! Honestly, for the premium for the Ritani name, I would''ve gone ballistic! But, they did a wonderful job fixing it and it is absolutely gorgeous.

Chellebelle, your ring is beautiful and vastly improved with the recent fix. I am shocked that Ritani sent out a ring with such poor workmanship, how could it get past quality control? However, it''s good to see that your ring is finally looking the way it should. Go and flash it around, you have a ring to be proud of and also a wonderful proposal story behind it.
