Wedding is December 23. I want an all-white bouquet and prefer only one type of flower (i.e. no mixed bouquets). I want something classic besides roses. I am leaning towards calla lillies...any suggestions?

Thanks!

How about white amarylis? Or white casa blanca lilies?

I am liking this. The ribbon color is the color of my BMs dresses.

I''m partial to callas myself, so my first choice would probably be white calla liles. But what about the white ''stargazer'' lilies? Though the smell of those suckers is potent...or white tulips...or white roses...

Yup, it''s between white tulips and white calla lillies. I think they are so elegant.

tulips!! my favorite

I love both calla and tulips, so I am no help. Too bad peony aren''t in season.

How do tulips hold up over several hours without water? That could solve your problem right there. The callas hold up excellently. What about tulips? Anybody try?

I just love white hydrangeas...so pretty!

And another pic of white hydrangea bouquets....

Dani in your first bouquet shot what is that big ole flower in the middle? I thought it was ranunculus but I have no clue.

Firegoddess, I want to say they''re peonies! Peonies would be my first choice (obviously) but they''re not in season during that time so callas would be a great second choice.

i would do peonies. someone should be able to get them flown in or something even though they aren''t in season. i also love the look of crisp orchids. and my other choice would be hydrangea.

i don''t know what color dress you are wearing. mine is white. personally, i don''t care for white roses because they always come off as a tiny bit cream or yellow. i like the look of white on white, so that crosses out a lot of options.

I think that is a peony, FG. But the hydrangea are surrounding it. Aren''t they so pretty?

I love peonies, but Skylah, for your wedding (time of year) they are totally not in season (they are in season May/June, I think) and it might cost you a lot of $$$ to have them, since they would have to special order them and have them transported in. Maybe speak to your florist regarding what is in season and what you can do. I think I have a list at home of flowers and when they are in season, so I will check for you.

Calla lillies are so pretty, I think they are available that time of year. Also, I hate to say it, but white carnations, if they are tightly woven together, look really nice- I will have to find a pic for you to see....

Peonies peonies peonies - gotta remember that. I love them, how big and fluffy and beautiful they look!
