i've been searching for shoes to wear to the wedding and stopped by nordstroms today.
i tried on this brand that i had never heard of before "athena alexander" and ooooo so comfy. i don't usually wear any type of heel and have low arches and am a size 4, so it's VERY VERY hard for me to find shoes in general that are even my size and then that are comfortable and that don't look matronly.
i picked up a pair that are 3.5 inches!!!! but they are so comfortable that i totally don't feel like i am in heels. i got them in silver. they are a lot blingier than i usually wear but since it is hard to find a size 4, i decided to get them and then go home to look up the brand to see what other styles she has. they aren't super dressy but i didn't want to get dressy dressy shoes because i know i probably won't wear them again.
they have a cushioned sole which is fabulous - i can't deal with the BP and even the naturalizer shoes that have no cushion whatsoever - and feel very light.

i checked the nordstrom website and there even more styles so i think i will pick a few and order them to try out.
ETA : i noticed on the nordstrom site that it says that they tend to run small. i actually felt that they run a bit bigger. i have a teeny bit wider foot and size 4s usually feel just right for me - with these shoes they felt a little bit big even in the length.
