Hey No worries MC, I was in McDonalds the other day with my 3rd old. He starting singing their song:

Everyone loved it. So not only do mine eat junk- they watch TV too!!! Oh the Horrors!!!!!!!!!!!

oh no! lol My kids don't sing the songs but they're so addicted to junk that they actually will starve themselves, not eat all day long, until we finally cave in and feed them "healthy" food as in organic food that has sugar in it. lol It's funny that places like Whole foods will not sell food with aperatame but sell loads of products with TONS of sugar. My kids actually will grab food off the shelves while I shop and start eating it before I can stop them! Ten clif bars and two containers of Horizon vanilla milk later & they're jumping around and tipping the cart over!

How old are your children?

edited to add: thanks for posting the mag. I'm definetly going to get it. Should be more interesting than the usual magazines I get. I'm sick of looking at clothes I cannot wear because it's not in style to wear designer clothes with milk and animal crackers spilled all over them.

I love T&C but it's all about the drool and no action--everything is Hamptons-priced!

I first really picked one up almost 2 years ago when we got engaged, they had a special wedding issue with a beautiful girl in a beautiful dress on the front. I snatched it up a week after the engagement, telling myself I was now 'legal'. Got caught hiding with it in the aisle by new fiance (still wasn't used to being 'legal'), put it back and meant to buy it later when I was ALONE.

The spread was mostly about exhorbitant weddings by people mostly in NYC that cost around $1m where they had $50k flower budgets and paid the orchestra something like $70k to play for 4 hours. I keep telling Greg he has got to get a 'side' gig like that!!!

So of course I forgot to go back and get it. Then I couldn't find it. Lucked out at some store one random evening and got their last copy. Not a whole lot of budget stuff I could use in our wedding, BUT I found my dress. It was stunning, I dreamt about it for weeks. Unfortunately it was also a $15k Badgley Mischka dress that of course would look nothing on me like it did on the twiggy model. It didn't stop me from drooling over it for the next year and saving the picture of course. Maybe in my next life.

T&C...eye candy extraordinaire. I want to see some of these baubles. Scans please!

I have a subscribtion to T&C for about three years until one day I realized it was mostly ads. The tail was seriously waggin the dog. I am embarrasssed that it took me 3 years though.

Aren''t they all that way?! They have to make money somehow...I mean the super high cover price couldn''t possible make them any money

Seriously, I do know what you mean. I have an addiction to magazines, have since I was a teen *sigh* My friends love me as I always recycle them! As I''ve gotten older, turned the BIG 40 this year, I was finding that some of the old "trash" just wasn''t the same...then I found "More Magazine" and I LOVE it!

That''s one of my magazine pet peeves. I''m looking at clothes and shoes in them and a dress is 3k and the shoes are 1k. Then they have ONE page of stuff people "on a budget." Yeah right...the "budget" items are still in the hundreds of dollars. It''s all fun to look at though.

Mara, that dress is beautiful! I''ve been married for 5 years and I still love to look at wedding gowns and drool.

And Emeraldcut, your phrase fits me to a "T" - here I go again champagne taste on a beer budget! I''d like to steal that if I may?!?!

aren''t they just scrumptious, sevens one. I have no words. I have to agree with you. Those are prongs. You definitely have to have the right attitude to carry those off. Though, if someone gave me one, I wouldn''t mind trying.

Ballpark cost, the first is 7carat cushion, the second is like 6ct. $200k, $300k. I can''t begin to know the ct. weight in the setting itself.
