frustrated....need help finding bedroom furniture in Ontario, Canada

HI all,
I am getting so frustrated with this project. We are going to be putting our 2 little boys in 1 room together, so to save space, Iwant to put the dressers in the closet.
The hard part is, where I live, the shopping is VERY limited...really, you have NO idea..... We live out in the country (we run a campground near the Sandbanks in Ontario) and the closest ''shopping is in Belleville. That is a 30 minute drive.

To put this in perspective, it takes me 40 min to get to Walmart, Home Depot. These Are the CLOSEST ones to me, not to mention, The Brick, Leons......

Anyway, I can go to Toronto or Kingston but am wondering what other stores there are to shop in. Since I have only been living in Canada for under 3 years, I dont know much besides what is right around me. I know there is Ikea in TO..maybe I will end up having to go out there......

Argh...I hate this. I am a CITY GIRL, trying to cope with life in the country. There are some things I like about it, but the accessibility to things is terrible!!!

Please help...

Sandbanks is beautiful!!! What a great place to spend the summer!

Shopping is definitely going to involve a trip to Toronto or Kingston. You might as well hit Toronto as you will have all the options that way and there's an Ikea in Scarborough, so it's not as far as going right into the city.

We do like it here at the Sandbanks and as you noted, it is GREAT in the SUMMER but not the rest of the time, in my opinion. I miss civilization...haha

Yeah, I went on to the Ikea site, so I will probably have to arrange a visit. The problem is, my DH works very long days to get ready for when the park will open, and we have a 2 yr old and 8 1/2 month old. I would rather do the trip without them in toe.......I am just getting ansry bc the kids closet is such a hodge podge right now and I can''t stand it.....

Anywhere else you can reccomend for a chest of drawers, around 200?

I am not familiar with Belleville shopping but I did a quick check on the web and there is a Master Bedroom franchise somewhere in Belleville that might have what you are looking for. Is there a local paper that might have something under items for sale that you have access to?

Ikea would be a great option if your DH could get away but also ask around and see what the locals suggest.

It is very remote there, which is part of it's charm, but I can understand how hard it would be for a city girl! Good luck to you Sophie and sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Thanks for the help.. It is so sweet that you looked online for me! THank you!! Well, since I am desperate to get my kids room in order, I bought a couple from Walmart... I will see if I can find some pics to post....Also, we took our boat over to the sanddunes today because it is gorgeous out!! HERe is a pic of our dog Sunny!!
