Fun thank you cards

We found these notes on the Crane''s website to use as thank you cards. FI chose them, but I really like them too! And so what if they don''t match anything else? Our wedding(s) might be the most incoherent hodgepodges of all time. But hopefully things will pull together and look nice at the actual party!

I love them, Indy! I think they''re much nicer than matchy cards with "THANK YOU" scrawled across the front. You have to love Cranes, they have the best envelope linings in the business.

These are GREAT! I love unique things like this that aren''t just "thank you". FI thought I was strange because I got stickers with embossed pears on them to seal our invite envelopes, but I thought they were great and they look wonderful! I''d love to get a card in the mail like your pick!

Love them! I think that they don''t have to match, I definitely agree that you should just go with your favorites of everything!

IG - i think they are great esp the lining of the envelope...cute but not cutesy.

i''m not into matchy matchy too and agree with facetfire that you should have things that are your favorite or that give a sense of your personality/style.

I like them too...(How cool to see facetfire's, ringster's and my ring avatars all lined up one after the other...sorry Indy!)

ETA: I used William Arthur for our thank you notes, which were just our initials in brown ink, with a Craftsman style logo thingy in between the initials in Tiffany blue. I love playing around with stationary...Cranes is great for that mixing a simple but perfect design with great lined envelopes.

IGal, I love them. The great thing about those cards is that you could use them after the fact for what ever reason.

I love those! Love Crane''s too...I got my guestbook from them and it was gorgeous. My TY''s OTOH, were so not matchy-matchy, I found them at Hallmark, just a nice subtle lacy cutout design.

Thanks guys! Glad to hear you like them too. The notes arrive on Monday, and none too soon as our first wedding gift arrived yesterday. I e-mailed the sender and said ''I am so excited to open it!'' He wrote back: ''Don''t get too excited! Registry gifts are notoriously dull.'' To which I replied ''Spoken like a man jaded by decades of matching towels.''

Frankly, I''m pretty excited about some of the ''upgrades'' we''re getting, and having nice, quality things around the house gives me pleasure.
