If you happen to live here and like looking at antique and estate peices. The Bonham & Butterfields auction house has their jewelry preview right now and it''s a great place for eye candy. I went this morning just to look and they had some very nice items.

Thanks for the tip! I will going up to the city this weekend (I live just down the peninsula in San Mateo), so I''ll have to stop by and salivate!

oohh, where might they be located?!

220 San Bruno ave, It''s off 16th street near Potrero ave. It''s sort of between the Mission district and the Potrero district.

innerkitten, will you be participating in the auction?

No, I just went to drool over all the beautiful peices. But I may do one of these days. I''ve never bought jewelry in an auction before. Some of the people looking seemed like they really knew a lot about jewelry and were taking their time to check everything really carefully.

I didn''t even mention what was there. They had lots of diamonds, lots of pearls, diamonds with pearls, some art deco jewelry, some citrine bracelets and necklaces with diamonds, sapphires jewelry in yellow and blue, ruby jewelry, a ten carat diamond, a string of natural pearls ( not cultured) and lots more.

Did anyone wind up going to this.

I am going to there tomorrow.
