why is nothing simple in this world


you know they used to keep the electrioal rolls at the post office, im on there with my address, so im really Nicola and not Nicky but anyone should be able to work that out !

How frustrating! I'd still ask the seller to forward you the exact address they used to ship. They may have wrote it incorrectly on the label. Hope it's sorted soon!

i do not understand in the didgatle age how this could happen, i mean etsy have my address preloaded into the system when i pay

finally some good news in the jet dept
so im planning on using the excess Navajo fascated jet to string my cameo on
i have no idea if its a real cameo, its 9k and was a gift from my friend in South Africa in the 90's
anyway i was going to use a few gold filled beads to break up the black but i got some small carved aventurine that is not quite but still a very close match to the cameo colour
just have to order a gold filled clasp

i have no idea if its a real cameo, its 9k and was a gift from my friend in South Africa in the 90's
anyway i was going to use a few gold filled beads to break up the black but i got some small carved aventurine that is not quite but still a very close match to the cameo colour
just have to order a gold filled clasp

I bet it is genuine cameo... they are usually made of agate, but can be shell too. Hope you'll share eventually!

its a phone thing, im locked out (and still having to pay the bill, i never even got it set up fully as i set up the password i must have made a typo twice) and it is not Borris1
so Gary took it in to get factory reset as no matter which way we tried it wanted the pass word
now it wont set up because it wants a google passowrd i have synked to phone as it says there was an unautherized factory reset
trouble is i never synked any google accounts to it
sigh

gold filled and something easy to do up and not tiny

ive seen a few i like but they are $35 shipping so they are out

its long, maybe 20 inches ??
it has the light cameo and also 10 small 6mm aventurine carved rose beads
what do you think of a magnetic clasp?
jet is so light

Jewelry magnets are so strong these days... as long as the necklace isn't super chunky or substantial, I'd have no problem using a magnetic clasp on a piece such as this.

i am at home sick today - i think its vertigo, but at least today im feeling a bit better, better enough to eat and so a bit of washing -running out of towels

anyway just goglerling

but i cant help but wonder what my two antique butchered necklaces once looked like, i mean they were both very short when they got to me so something had been removed ???

mind you, this one appairs to be unbutchered and is only 15 inches long

i just always had the feeling mine was a broken up strand and was more this kind of length - mine came with ugly spacer beads

couldnt someone wear them on suitable occasions ....rememberence day or to funnerals ?

Prince Albert died in 1861, Victoria famously mourned him the entire rest of her life and HM lived to see the dawn of the 20th centuary, so she must have had a lot of Jet

a lot better thank you,
my boss gave me yesterday and today off thankfully (she has had it)
its not as bad as last time when i was throwing up for days and my vision has been ok and the horizon has been straight !
i just feel a little bus sick now

I guess there are 2 kinds... BPPV, which is what I had, and then an inner ear infection that can cause it. That's the really bad one that makes you sort of seasick. I'm glad you're feeling better, DD!!

i have just ordered this
what has put me off ordering it sooner was the shipping is more than 3 times the cost of the item,
but today we did not go to McDonalds for breakfast with me being home sick so i thought oh well lets spend breakfast money on shipping
(did you know an extra hash brown at McDonalds is $3 and you can buy a whole packet at the supermarket for $5)
anyway ages ago i had a plastic bead /pearl necklace from avon i used to wear often in the summer that had a central element like this, i plan to use Wen pearls and add the little apricot and green aventurine flower beads

.......but first i might just see what this big flower looks like on the Whitby jet
cant rush things .........

i think its the one with the inner ear crystals, there are exercises you can do to dislodge them but they make you feel really terrible when you'er doing it

Yes, been there! It's called the Epley maneuver. While uncomfortable, the good news is it really works.

I had something soooo similar to this! But it was amazonite. I wonder if I still have a photo. Anyway, I love aventurine, be it green or red.

Yes! You're supposed to fry them in the pan or put them in the oven. But I pop those suckers right in the toaster.

well i can no longer find the snake i wanted so ill just have to hope i come across it again
but my rose carnelian is finally here
its a nice size for a central element, it has a flat back which i dont think will effect anything
i have to have a play around with the bead board
it seems to be a nice piece of carnelian

we may finally have the chicken dinner !
so i have the fasceted jet beads on one side, the flower in the middle and then the fascated rounded lozenge shaped orange carnelian beads on the other interspaced with the silver disco spacers (just on the carnelian side)
the rose isnt quite an exact match colour wise but i like it

the only thing is i will have whitby jet beads left over ..and not really enough to do anything else with

i think this is it !!!!

Friday is jeweller day so i have a few days to deside
i want to like the pearls but they dont make the orange pop like the silver disocs

cant rush these things

the left over Navajo jet with the malachite and gold filled silver spacer beads
it looks amazing, the jet makes the malachite really pop

of course last week i was ment to take my phone it to get it looked at and set up but i had the vertigo, so no pictures this week either
