Gem Shows - Which show(s) do you like and attend?

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum here and this forum has so much information that everyone shares it's wonderful.
I recently went to the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show in Tucson, AZ. I loved it, and now I want to go to other gem shows.
I am primarily interested in loose stones and finished jewelry, not so much in beads, jewelry making, or minerals.

What is your favorite show? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Also, has anyone been to JOGS in Tucson? It says it's for the trade but the Public is allowed to visit. Can the Public purchase items? Is it a show worth going to?

Spruce Pine in North Carolina. I’m sure it’s not nearly as big as Tucson,but there is plenty of eye candy. Other than that, I go to local shows.

I love the Blue Ridge Mountains. My husband and I usually visit the Gatlinburg/Asheville area. I googled Spruce, NC and it's not that far. I just put those dates on my calendar. Thank you!

You’re welcome! My friend and I went last August and had a blast. There is an outside show as well that’s put on by the fire department. Actually, all of my gems except for my Pakistani peridot came from the outside show.
