Spess finally arrived! Unlike most I’ve had in the past, it’s pretty much straight up orange, not yellowish. I’ve left it in the box because I’ve been really tired and didn’t trust myself! Took a pic with my other spess, which has a kiss of red in it, for comparison. Solo pic is indoors, comparison pic is outside on a cloudy day

You're not the only one, Elle. I sent in my order for it. It is such a luscious hot pink, and he had me at OEC. Perhaps I'm not the first one to see your update here, though. Did anyone else go for the order on that pink sapphire?

Nope, it was sold right before my own order. I'm still on the hunt for the next OEC in a color I like.

That pink is stunning! A question for fellow members and experienced consumers, can this be considered the top colour of pink sapphire? I saw it’s given a colour rating of 10 by Gene, just like a previous 1.6ct pink sapphire not long ago.

It’s a nice pink sapphire, and you just always need to be wary about color shifts in various lighting to a color less desirable to you. Always ask about that when considering any gem.

I went back and forth like 5 times, putting it in the cart then removing it, was somewhat relieved when it showed up as sold then came back and was available again so... I bought the lab blue sapphire. I need another lab stone like I need a hole in my head but couldn't resist that blue color. Would it be my holy grail blue sapphire color? All my previous ones have been a bit too light and too much purple, hoping this is more pure blue.

I might be putting some lab stones up for sale to make up for this one...

Here's a few pics and video. I'm terrible at taking them as the stone is like a glowy red that shifts to glowy red/pink and peach.

I would also like to mention the chrysoberyl is just bright and stunning~ And at a very nice price. Anyone could shed some light in its saturation of colour??
