Hi everyone,
I''m leaving for Jamaica on Thursday & getting married a week from today!
I''m really excited &, of course, can''t stop thinking about all of the wedding details, so I thought I''d start a thread to share them with you. I''ve probably already posted most of these things on different threads, but it might be nice to have them all in one place.
I also wanted to thank all of you for being so wonderful & supportive throughout this whole process from pre-engagement to wedding. You guys have helped me through every step & have been instrumental in nearly every major decision in the process. I can''t tell you how much I''ve appreciated all of your advice & good wishes. Thank you.
Ok, now on to the pictures!
Me in my dress at my 2nd fitting.
My wedding shoes. The heel is thick enough that it shouldn''t sink into the sand.
Blue topaz necklace I plan to wear for my wedding. (Something blue to match the Caribbean ocean...)
Matching blue topaz dangly earrings.
My best friend made me this anklet & I attached a charm I borrowed from my mom. Now it''s something old, new, borrowed & blue all in one.
Our rings. FI''s ring is titanium with a platinum inlay from Boone Titanium & my eternity band was made by Quest.
Palm tree garter. The palm tree is a pendant I bought on eBay & attached to the garter.
I want to put my hair up like this, but with a bit more fullness in the front with white dendrobium orchids scattered in the curls.
I like the orchids in the hair like this.
I love this makeup look. Natural, with a touch of glamour.
FI''s going to wear a black linen-blend suit from Baron Boutique in the style of this photo (with a white shirt, open collar, no tie, no shoes....but with a more understated island necklace.)
He has a coconut shell necklace very similar to this one (but in black & tan) that he bought on Block Island, where he proposed. I think it would add a beachy feel to the suit!
I got this parasol to keep the sun off my face between photos. Do you like it, Scintillating?
Fans our guests for the ceremony
Our DIY save the date. It''s an actual flip flop.
The envelope for the save-the-dates--a picture of the 7 Mile Beach in Negril.
Our (in)formal invitations.
Hang on....more photos are coming...
