GIA charge for certing

Hello all, new poster here. Love the forums. Does anyone know what the GIA might charge to certify and inscribe a diamond? Just curious.

Its about $120 a carat cost plus shipping ins etc - but I think you need to get a business to submit the stone for you.

The man from OZ is correct - 1.00-1.49ct. = $127 +$18 for GIA # inscription and $23 for additional inscription up to 15 characters.

You could save a little if the stone is below 1ct. by getting a dossier report for $70 (0.70-.99ct.) which includes GIA# inscription.
