GIA Jeweler''s course in CA ONLY?!

I just found out that GIA only has bench jeweler course in Carlsbad, and nothing in NY except applied jewelery (but no design, wax or CAD!)

Not that I wouldn''t just love to head out to CA for 6months or so, but I am not a young single gal with nothing to leave behind...

So in absence of GIA, is there any other jeweler''s course that anyone knows is available in NY? Help... I am actually going to take the steps to do it...

What a good idea!




I have wondered sometimes if some of you PS regulars shouldn't just wake up & smell the coffee and realize you are meant to be in the jewlery /diamond business!




The amount of knowledge on pricescope is really amazing at times.




I could see getting into something like this but alas I am well along into a nice successful career that makes ample use of my obsession with numbers and systems and complicated mental maneuvering.
