GIA President resigns

At a special meeting at 4:00 today. Bill Boyajian’s statement of resignation was read. His resignation will be effective July 31st. Donna Baker will take over as president

Given the problems that GIA has had; the scandals, the apparent cover up...

This was past due. In almost any other company he would have been gone a lot sooner.

I hope things go better now.

I think you seek to make this a single facet story Perry.

I suspect it is multi dimensional story - with many facets - many of which will never be revealed to the likes of us (or if they are - they will have to kill us).

Personally I found Bill to be a good hard working bloke.
Maybe he was too successful?
