Thanks to all of those here who helped with the final decision. The other stones I was debating are here: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/the-final-decision-1-8-vvs2-j-vs-1-7-vvs1-h-you-pick.212215/#post-3859592#p3859592

That is stunning! I love the delicate shank, and the stone is breathtaking.

Thanks all for the kind words!

These were from the virtual inventory at Blue Nile. Because I wasn't in a rush, I decided I was willing to order a few stones "un-seen" and possibly ship them back under the 30-day return policy if they weren't acceptable. The potential savings from some of the BN stones was 20% + no tax + an additional 4% credit card cash back compared to some other sites. Hard to pass up for a little bit of effort and time.

TIP! I found many stones that were of equal or higher performance in Blue Nile's virtual inventory than were in their "Signature" category for hundreds and sometimes thousands less!

Here's what I did:

I set Blue Nile's basic 4C filters to what I was looking for.

Then used the "Advanced Filters" as follows to narrow down my search:
Cut: Ideal (Not Signature!)
Depth: 61-63%
Table: 55-58%
Sym: Ex
Polish: Ex
Flour: Med-None

From there, I went through the list of stones one by one opening the GIA report and looking for combinations of Crown and Pavilion angles that met this table for Hearts and Arrows. If the stone had reasonable angles and the inclusions were acceptable I added it to my "Diamond Comparison" list.

I did that everyday for about a week until I had a list of 10-15 stones.

I then went through and further narrowed it down by running the HCA Tool and selected the top performing stones.
https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca

Once I had narrowed it down to less than 5 stones, I went to sites that showed actual images, Ideal Images, and ASET images and searched for stones with as close to the same dimensions as I could find. That gave me a "simulation" of what the H&A should look like on the un-seen stones.

In the end I ordered two stones, compared, and shipped one back.
