I need some suggestions!!!!!

My friend is a make-up artist and she said she would do my make-up for my wedding for free. Which is awesome of her. Even though she says she doesnt want to be paid I''d still love to give her a gift to thank her! She will be doing my trial this weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions for a gift?

I don''t actually hang out with her any more so I dont know what type of jewelry she likes or anything like that. I was thinking of getting her a Visa gift card for when she does my wedding day make-up but I was thinking of a little gift of some sort for this weekend when she does the trial.

Thanks!!! :)

Hi!
I'm in a similar situation. I have a friend who will be doing my hair for the wedding, and I was trying to come up with something to give her. I was thinking of a spa gift certificate (price of a facial most likely), but then she mentioned that she's getting her hair cut and colored (she's not actually a professional hair stylist anymore), so I think I'm going to give her a gift certificate there instead. I was going to give her the gift the day of my wedding, but she's doing my final trial on Saturday, and her hair appt. is on Sunday, so it just makes sense for me to give it to her on Saturday then (my wedding is the following weekend).

I personally always prefer gift certificates over a personal gift like jewelry -- even if they don't like facials or massages, hopefully they could find something at a spa to spend money on (I know I could!)

As for a gift for doing the trial, I've just always picked up lunch or dinner or baked some type of dessert for the few times we've gotten together as I didn't want it to cost her anything to be helping me out! I don't think a true gift is necessary for the trial -- she may start to feel uncomfortable if you keep showering her with gifts!

ETA: I think I'll probably go with $100 for the gift certificate.

What about a gift certificate to Sephora? Or for a massage or for dinner out somewhere?
