I''m crazy about this rock...

A beautiful 1.03 carat Radiant GIA certified Natural Fancy Yellowish Green diamond with VS2 clarity grading. This diamond is virtually pure green with only a subtle yellowish hint. Green diamonds tend to come with visible patches of color and (are hardly ever) certified VS in clarity giving it maximum shine and brilliancy...very rare.

Color: Fancy y. GREEN
Clarity: VS2
Price: $32,960.00

I first saw this ring when Bez Ambar''s daughter (or son?) - also a jewelry designer - posted it here on PS. Although pink and colorless are still my faves, this piece launched a fascination with green diamonds.

There''s also a 19 carat pink diamond ring on this page... inSANE.

I think this one is very interesting...

A very unique and rare color diamond that shows dominant green color in a spectacular spread 0.81ct EMERALD CUT shape. Fine clarity, impressing dark color. GIA certified. The color of this diamond changes temporarily when gently heated or when left in darkness for a period of time and is known in the trade as NATURAL CHAMELEON.

Cut: Emerald Cut
Carat Weight: 0.81 ct.
Color: Fancy Dark G. Greenish-Yellow (Chameleon)
Clarity: VS
Price: $13,365.00
Measurements: 7.35 x 4.95 x 2.46

Which one? The minty one or the chameleon? I think they''re both amazing, but that light, cool green... omg.

I would love to see it in person. It''s barely over a carat - I''m trying envision it.

I''m a chameleon fan. The color change is really hard to photograph, however, so it''s nice when the stable color is a beautiful green like that. That is a really beautiful diamond. I told the story of my Little Green here.

I think I''ve recovered. I was pretty much speechless there for a while. HOLY SMOKES THOSE ARE AMAZING. I

But that light minty green...wowza!
