Hi, I'm new, well new to posting, I lurk :) I love looking at everyone's jewelry. I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I have gone through my jewelry and found some things that I never wear that I'd like to sell and replace with pieces that would get more use. Anyone know of a good place to sell jewelry? Also any suggestions on what these might be worth? I've tried looking on ebay, but no luck in finding anything similar but I probably just don't know the right terms to look up.

Cross necklace 19.75" chain stamped 14Kt Italy, cross stamped 14K with a symbol and is 3/4" tall plus the bale. I tried it on once thinking I could use the chain with another pendant but it's not long enough. Other than that it's been sitting in the box it came in since I got it.

3mm gold necklace, not stamped, 22" long. I was given this a long time ago, my mother said my grandma got it from QVC in a set that my 2 sisters each have a skinnier one. I've only worn it a handful of times in about 18 yrs. I'll have to get it tested. Do you know what type of chain this is?

"S" pendant stamped 10K have no idea where it came from, never worn, "S" is 3/4" long, total length 1 3/8", unfortunately the detail did not come out too well in the picture

Sarah, welcome to PS!

Since these have no sentimental value & are not wildly artistic pieces, you'd probably do best selling them for the gold content. You can compare what various of your local jewelers are offering. Gold is still high, so I think you'd realize more doing it that way.

Good luck!

Looks like you can get a huge amount from these items, by just looking at based from your descriptions. Gold per ounce is at its all-time high today so probably you'll get the most out of it since you are trying to sell them, and the gold content is high. To avoid being ripped off, visit a trusted jeweler and have it appraised to know the amount to expect more or less. Search on Google a few trusted gold buyers in your area.

I agree, best scrapped. Be careful who you sell it to big differences on price. Check around. Best regards, Lee

The first one cross type is rather brilliant, I hope to get one when I get married.
