Gone Crazy over Reception

Ok. I just need to vent here. I didn''t think I''d end up going crazy over wedding planning. FI and I wanted something laid back and simple. We were originally planning a family-reunion style picnic and had the caterer booked, the area, the hotel for a formal cocktail hour beforehand. In one week, I booked an entirely different caterer and venue. Am I crazy!??

weddings evolve as the planning goes on. just make sure that your budget doesn''t suffer in the name of evolution!

I also did a total about-face from what I said I originally wanted. I think it''s easy to say "I''m only doing this once" and go all out. I agree, keep your budget in mind and choose what''s important to you to spend money on!

if your crazy, then I''m crazy b/c FI and I did the exact same thing. Originally we wanted simple (70guests/sit down 5 course) but now were at 135guests, sit down 5 course, cocktail hour, and desert hour at the end....opps!

Our attitude is as long as we stay within a reasonable budget, it only happens once so lets go all out!
