Good and Bad news about my e-ring!

Bad: I had to take it off my finger.

Good: Only because it''s sitting in a wax mold for a custom flush-set wedding band in the making. I get it back Sunday. Yay.

Just thought I would share the sadness and happiness with people who would understand!

That is so sad, plantation! but getting your w-ring made is so exciting!!!!

I took my engagement ring in to have it rhodium dipped as well as to see if I should have my rings sodered (they told me "no") and the prongs fixed (I bought my ring out of town and the orginal jeweler told me they were fine, but I knew that they weren''t so I had them check it at this local jeweler and he said I was right). It looks so beautiful I don''t want to put my e-ring back on until the wedding day, which is 13 days away. I am really missing my ring.

Ooh, I empathize! My e-ring was gone for almost a whole month while my custom flush w-band was being made by WF!

But you''ll have a whole new appreciation for it once it''s back on your finger!!

Girls, thanks for the support! It''s back on my finger, yay. And the wedding band will be here in less than a month. I am so grateful to my fiance''s father, who personally drove it up to Pennsylvania (from NC) and drove it back. Granted, he was going to visit family in town anyways, but I trust him way more than the postal service, you know!

KimberlyH--You will be so incredibly excited to have it back on for your wedding. But the waiting hurts, doesn''t it?

LizzieC--a whole month might have killed me!

IrishAngel--As soon as I get the band I will certainly post pictures of the set!
