I''m looking to buy an e-ring for my gf very soon, but I''m not looking to spending much money ($1000-1100US). I went to some local shops for designs and decided upon a three-stone ring (one in the middle and one on each side). I got a quote from a local dealer (friend of a friend) and wanted to see if I''m getting a decent deal. Here are the specs:

- white gold ring
- middle stone is 0.37ct, G colour, good cut
- side stones are 0.20ct each, G colour, good cut

She quoted me $1500CDN ($1071US) for the whole thing. Is this a decent deal? The service will be good, and satisfaction will be guaranteed, so I''m not worried about that aspect of the sale. If it makes a difference, this is in Toronto, Ontario.

If the stones are of good clarity, that sounds like a very good price to me.

I have also been searching in the Tdot and I think thats a pretty good deal as long as the clarity is good.

Good Luck with the Search!

Doh! I can't believe I forgot to post the clarity. They are all SI2's.

That is an excellent deal. Buy it! Sounds wonderful, we could use some pics!

I picked up the ring today and got an appraisal to go along with it. Do the appraisers tend to really over-value the rings? The "Estimated Raplacement Value" of the ring is $3250CDN, and I paid less than half of that.
