Good Jewelers in Chicago

I just got my first stone the other day and now need to find a good place to have set it. And I assume future business

I am still kind of new to Chicago (Boston transplant), so i need some help in the right direction.

I am in the Wicker Park/ Ukrain Village area but work downtown on Museum Campus. I am willing to drive for a good place.

Any recommendations for jewelers that work with gemstones?

I''ve always had my colored stone rings set by Steve Quick in Lincoln Park (Clark and Fullerton) or Windy City in Jewelers Row (in the Mallers Building). Both are excellent - I''ve been going to Windy City more since they''re closer and I don''t have a car, but I really like the people at Steve Quick as well. And both do great work. I believe WC has set for me a spinel, tourmaline and garnet (all in bezels), a tourmaline in a haloed bezel, a spinel in a prong-set, and a tourmaline in a Sally Lotus setting. Steve Quick has set my garnet in my pronged halo, my green tourmaline in a split-shank halo, and they also set a synth alex in a halo (project for a friend) and an amethyst in a halo for my mom.
