That ring is beautiful!! However, I think I am going to go with a very thin, plain platinum band - something that I won''t really ever have to worry about taking it off.

And if anyone is curious, I didn''t make it to Hollywood on American Idol, but I''ll probably be in the opening sequences or the segways ... since Ryan Seacrest was to arm''s-lengths away. It was a great time anyways ... The show starts in January.

BUT, more importantly, I think my finace and I picked a date!! Yay! September 22 next year. I''m soooo excited. It may end up of being the 8th of September. But even a tentative date makes me happy. We started looking at reception sites this week and I fell in love with one today!!
