what is a good website to get our own wedding web page? prefer one that has easy to remember domain names and free. thanks!

I know several people who are using www.weddingannouncer.com. It's free and has a lot of designs. You can use something like yournameandhisname.weddingannouncer.com as the domain.

Also, this topic has come up a lot, so try a search on "wedding website" and you'll get a bunch more suggestions.

My wife used ewedding.com or something like that because for like $10 a month our website was our names .com...for example you could make it RichardandJill.com it made it a lot easier for people to remember than having like RichardandJill/yahoo-webpages/32/4sk/.html or something you know? It also allowed for peopel to RSVP and get directions and find our registry stuff on there..I was very pleased with it. We were even able to upload some of our engagement pictures on to it

Just last week I got us an account with Weddingtracker.com. We got ournames.com (no spelling deviations or anything!!!! yay!!!) which was SO much easier than using the Knots regular "webpage" where we had www.theknot.ournamenandhisname/.blahblahblah/yadayaddayadda.asp (you get the idea...we wern't even able to have our complete names in it so it really was a challenge to spell everything correctly....probably why almost no one vistited it after the STDs went out).

It offers 20 templates that are very pretty. I set it up in minutes and have been tweaking it for the last couple days. Lots of fun!! I wish I would have had this one from the begining :) It'll cost us $30 for one year and is renewable after that.
