Got a bad case of the Mondays

If I were on the east coast.... at least it would be 6:30! Got any ideas how to cope with the Mondays? Please share!!

Here are the things that I keep reminding myself of:

My 3 Danburites are IN THE MAIL! They will be here this week. So I have that to look forward to!

The nightstands I wanted were DISCONTINUED so they cut the price on them by 75%!!! And I bought them today! So one is coming by mail, and we need to pick the other up this week! YAY my bedroom furniture is almost done and SEVERELY under budget (more bling??

).

* feeling better!
* not having to use yicky, stingy eye drops anymore

* seeing if I have the guts to Ebuy

* cleaning my house top to bottom (got FILTHY during my week-long-cold)
* finishing up our Ireland planning/booking B&Bs
* weighing in on Wed -- lets hope sick = weight loss

* reintroducing DAIRY products into my diet (Phlegm means no Fage for Deco)
* AMERICAN IDOL, eh, kinda
* my new cutie cropped trench from The Gap should arrive

I can''t wait until Friday at 3:00 when school ends and I can send my students home.

My engagement ring is going to be shipped either today or tomorrow and then my boyfriend will have it in his possession. I''d LOVE IT if we got engaged this week but I don''t think that will happen. Each passing day is one day closer to when we actually COULD get engaged. So that''s something to look forward to, right?

I''m hoping my mom can come over and we can go over everything my boyfriend and I got when we looked at places to have our wedding and reception (yes, it''s early). I have 6 wedding packages sitting in fromt of me now but I''m not sure what to do with all the information.

*Well, this Friday''s payday so that''s always nice!

*A new person starts at my job this week and her position will make my job a lot easier! (That''s how I''m trying to look at it so I don''t get irritated that I have to train someone!)

*We''re hiring 2 more people this week who will also hopefully make my job easier!

*Next week I get to go to NYC (and show off my newish engagement ring!) so that''s another thing to look forward to.

That''s all I''ve got for now! And Deco, I hope you go for your EBuy!

* my biggest real estate transaction to date closing tomorrow morning at 10:30 (all fingers and toes crossed PLEASE for a smooth deal!)

* getting a miserable quarterly board meeting done and over with on Wednesday

* having positive results from my CT scan on Thursday so they can idetify my mystery chest pain as something completely innocent and I can go back to working out

* possibly finding a new brother or sister for The Demon

My husband started his new job today and I''m looking forward to having the mornings to drink my coffee and have some time to think my own thoughts and meditate. (I love having him home, but I miss my ME time, LOL). This morning after I got him off, and sent my older one off and the younger one was still asleep, I had absolutely no idea what to do with myself. I got all excited, "I could do this and THAT and THIS and, OH YEAH, THAT!" I''m planning ahead for the rest of the week!

This week is my son''s 13th B-Day so that is very exciting for me. Sounds cliche, but, I really feel like he was just born. We also have an awards assembly at school for him and his STRAIGHT A+ report card!!!!! And he''s not taking easy classes so we are just very proud of him.

Thanks Skippy! My engagement ring and my wedding band (we ordered them at the same time) are sitting on the other couch, still in the Fed Ex box they were sent in. My boyfriend is playing X Box and I''m typing away. You''d never know there was a diamond ring in beteween us.

Why don''t I open it, you ask? Well, I''m not allowed to see it until my boyfriend proposes.

It''s funny b/c I was talking to a friend of mine I''ve known for about 10 years... and she''s asking me all these questions, and I tell her-- I''m just really boring and beige these days... just settled and content, not wild and crazy any more... and she WOULD NOT believe me. Made me wonder what I was like... LOL. Clearly my memories have been white washed.

* Waiting for DH to finally get home from NYC this Thursday night. I''m lonely for him, plus I don''t love doing the single-parenting thing.

* Getting over this dag nasty month-long cold, or upper respiratory infection, or whatever the heck it is. I''ve been sick since April 1!

* Getting my son fitted for a tux this weekend.

He''s going to be a ring-bearer again....next month!

* Finally fixing the leaky shower in our master bath. Fingers crossed that we''ll actually get to it this weekend!

* My brother''s arrival this Saturday. Besides the fact that the kids love him, when he''s around, there''s another pair of hands to help out around the house!

Have you been to a doctor KD? I had a nasty pneumonia and bronchitis combo for the month of March -- and into April, I'm still recovering from. DF is still sick and on antibiotics!

Take care of yourself and make sure you get a lot of rest.
