Here is a pic of the dress I ended up getting for the wedding.

It isn''t tea length, but it was SUPER cheap and sans veil and other frills, I think it should be alright for our backyard bbq wedding.

Do you think I did alright?

Hii littleL,

Your dress is lovely! I know you said your wedding is in your back yard, but why not wear the veil too? It looks like it was made for you and your gown and the proportions seem to be just perfect on you from what I can see in your picture. Just a thought. Glad you got a good deal on your dress. It looks like a million bucks!

I like it a lot. Lovely!

VERY CHIC ... and it fits you SO well! CONGRATS!!!

Love it. Timeless and classic!

It''s lovely and simple... Great choice!

Oh I love it! Classic! And add me to those who say wear the veil. I mean, really, how often do we get to do that???

Congrats!

Jackie

Very pretty! Seriously, was this dress custom made to your proportions?! I agree, go for the veil!

Thanks guys! It was the third dress I tried on and as soon as I put it on I had a feeling it was going to be the dress.

The dress I''m wearing in the pics is just a store sample! I am thinking I''m probably not going to need a ton of alterations!

I''m getting the same dress, but mine is going to in ivory, the store sample is white.

Although I do dig the veil a bit, the wedding is going to be so laid back and casual, I just don''t think it would really vibe with the laid back feeling we are going for...

Plus, for whatever reason, I really like the idea of getting married with flowers in my hair.

I got it at Alfred Angelo - and I still can''t believe it cost $399.

We are thinking a nice linen suit for FI, no tie? Any other suggestions?

Holy $^%*!!! $399? I want to go shopping with you!!! Love the Linen suit for the groom

Okay so... Linen to me translates to rumpled looks in pictures... can you shot for a no wrinkle blend for the linen? I love the look of it when it''s all pressed and crisp though!

$399? Wow...that was a steal for such a classy looking gown! I love it, and the viel as well.

BEAU-T-FUL!

Great dress!

I love it!! I would consider getting a slight "dip" to the neckline, but I think it''s simple and elegant and perfect for a more casual wedding =)

Looks like it was made just for you and will be perfect for your backyard BBQ wedding...very classic

Absolutely fabulous, littlet!!! I love, love, love it. And I was a no veil bride and am glad I opted not to wear one. I had crystals in my hair. Ditto what Gypsy said about the linen suit and wrinkles. Perhaps slacks shirt and tie?

Simply gorgeous gown! You will make a gorgeous bride :)

Love the color of the dress! It flatters your skin tone very well!!!

Yay! Thanks everyone! I like it a lot and it nice to know you all like it too!

Woooooo!

I''m all aflutter because it is Friday and not raining!

I didn''t think of the wrinkles re: the linen suit. Perhaps a suit suit with no tie? Who knows...

oooooh, it''s gorgeous! The fabric looks so rich and soft looking and the dress looks great on you!

Very pretty! And yes - linen = massive wrinkling so he can''t sit at all before pictures are done.
