Got my first RSVPs back

I can''t believe my wedding is in 54 days! I spent the weekend in WI doing my first dress fitting (what a pain in 4.25" heels), tasting, RD meeting, met with wedding planner, AND had a shower! I was so tired I went to bed at 8:30 last night. One more visit home before the wedding. I know I still have to post my invites but I haven''t gotten around to taking any pictures yet. Just was so excited to be getting so many RSVPs back already (even though many cannot attend, oh well!)

Jcrow- they are ninas. They are the white and I was planning on dying them black after the wedding. I honestly didn''t realize they were that high until the lady measured them. They are very strappy with a thin heel. I got them at DSW for $50. I am slightly nervous because I am not that used to high heels but like you my FI is a foot taller than me so oh well....

Saturn- honestly I am glad the showers are over. I had two and they were very different. The first in Ohio with his mom''s friends at one of their houses, this was in WI in a restaurant and I felt SOOO akward opening presents with the servers just staring at me. Are you having any showers? FI''s B party is this weekend (he''ll be getting lap dances on my B-day

) But that is the last event until the RD. Ahhhh....Saturn we are almost married ladies!

My shower is this weekend, at my mom''s house.

We got our first wedding gift last week, and I made FI write the thank-you note because it was from one of his family''s friends who I''ve never met. It took him about 30 minutes just to write a simple note. I think he may have been stalling, so that I won''t make him write any more...

Yeah Tacori, we are almost married ladies!!!!

haha, I can ONLY imagine what my FI would write. As it is he only signs cards (hardly ever a personal message). Drives me crazy. Have a great shower! They are fun (and slightly akward). I wrote all of my thank yous the next day just to get them out of the way.
