sandyandisaac The heel is just over three inches, but the platform is about 1 inch. They are incredibly comfortable, though. I was shocked!

megumic I wasn''t looking for anything this high, either, but I fell in shoe lust and had to try - aaannnddd they are actually some of the most comfortable heels that I''ve had on. The platform makes all the difference - drama of a 4 inch heel, foot kindness of a 3 inch heel!


Now, does anyone have recommendations for heel lifts for FH?

I tried those on at the kate spade store here before my wedding and LOVED them. The problem for me is that they were not high enough and I was looking for something for my rehersal dinner and finally landed on a hot pink pair of loubs. Anyway, I''m happy that someone finally bought them because they will photograph amazingly, one thing that I was really dissapointed with my miu miu wedding shoes.

Thanks again for all the compliments, everyone! I love the way colored wedding shoes look in photos, so I started hunting for something fun nice and early... glad I did! My (giant) size seems to be sold out everywhere, now. I would have been bummed.

elledizzy5 - I''m 5''9", so I totally know what you mean. That is the only thing throwing me off about them. I''m *just about* as tall as FH in these, so I''m trying to get him to buy a shoe with a chunkier heel for the wedding

I love, love, love heels and wear them all the time, even though I''m a gigantasaur when I do... so at least FH is used to it! lol

beachrunner - not yet! I haven''t gotten any good ones... I''ll have to ask FH to help me out and take a few so I can share

Also, these shoes are insanely comfortable, and come in Black, White and Ivory, too, if anyone is looking for cute formal shoes!

They are the Kate Spade Gracious 2 in Eggplant satin. I got them on sale on zappos.couture.com but they don't seem to be there anymore!

If you're looking for purple shoes (I had a long search for the perfect ones!) I did try these ones on in the shop, and they were ammaazzinnngggg, too. The color is to die for and they are really comfortable. I couldn't choose between the two until the ones I got went on sale online... then I couldn't say no to a discount
