Just want to update everyone on my veil buying experience. Initially, I had no intentions of wearing a veil, but then I came the to conclusion that my wedding dress would not look complete without a veil. I looked into getting my veil from David''s Bridal but it was way to expensive in my opinion, $179.00 so I looked on ebay and decided to take a chance. I''m so glad that I did. The veil looks exactly how the picture describes it. Great quality, quick shipping, and very reasonably price! I can''t believe I paid only $35.00 for the veil including shipping and handling.

wow, nice deal!! it looks really pretty.

WOW! What a great deal! It looks beautiful.. and $35 is an amazing price.. considering I paid $300 for my veil..

I was expecting the worst but the veil looks great!

oh lmurden, I just love it. Congratulations! I am so happy you decided to wear a veil. And heck for that price you just can''t go wrong!

It''s very pretty Imurden, good for you. That''s a steal!!

I got mine on eBay too for $30 or something as well. It looks pretty much the same as yours, it was floor length as well. I didn''t want one either originally, but my Mom insisted that I had to have one, so I really didn''t want to pay $300 for something from a store for something I really didn''t even want. They are pretty easy to make! So I was very happy as well with my purchase. Love eBay veils!

Got my veil from ebay too...mine was shorter than yours but it was definitely a steal at around $25! Everyplace else, even David''s Bridal, charges like, $100+ for a veil and since my dress was $350, I was not about to pay $100 for a veil! Ebay''s a super place to get that stuff.

Isn''t ebay great?! I bought fabric and a pattern to make a veil about 2 months ago and then just a few weeks ago I saw that you can buy veils for so cheap from some of the ebay vendors that I was bummed I went to all the trouble to make a veil!

I got my slip from a great vendor on ebay too--and it''s like two in one on the slip b/c you can put in the hoops so it''s full enough for a ballgown or you can take out the hoops and it fits an A-line dress--for $29 incl s&h. So much better than buying two separate slips from the bridal shop for $70+ each!!

BTW, I forgot to mention that it''s a BEAUTIFUL veil you bought, lmurden!
