Okay - ive just bought this 2.5ct pad - its the only photo ive got at the moment.

Now i need some advice about settings - im tossing up between two different designs

1. Set similar to ''Mines'' Spess - halo''d with plain think shank and then diamond bands on either side
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/mine-mine-mine.29389/

Or

2. Set similar to Raleigh26''s Pad - halo''d with either pave single shank or split shank band
https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/e-ring.47463/

Both rings are soooo beautiful and i cant decide - i think im going to have to have two rings made

. Do you mind me asking where you purchased this beauty?

Got the stone through a wholesaler here in Sydney

Now i need some advice between the different settings

I love halo''s at the moment but am not sure what setting will show the stone the best

I would love to see a halo around that beauty, but that is just me. I own a few pad rings. Two of them have halos and they make the stones POP.

Hmm, did you start a new thread upon deciding on your setting?

If not...please allow me to voice my opinion, which is: delicate split shank, stone set in double claw prongs! I didn''t even open either thread you posted, just saw the pic of your stone and thought how wonderful it would look in the setting I just described! LOL! I may end up eating my words here if you show up with something else, but I had to c hime in when I saw this post revived and no other errant threads around it which might''ve been yours discussing your setting...looking forward to hand pics if not!
