I just got engaged last weekend in Paris and couldn''t be more ecstatic! I was working over in the UK and my SO and I decided to take a long weekend in Paris. Of course as soon as this was arranged proposal dreams started swirling in my head but he put those to rest by having our jeweler write me a fake email about some production problems they were having with my ring and that it would be delayed until the end of September. I totally bought this hook line and sinker and was fuming at our jeweler for weeks!
But of course he had the ring all along and after freaking out a bit on getting it through customs and security without me noticing we arrived in Paris. It was one of the most beautiful days ever with blue sky''s and cool temps. We spent the day wondering around and decided to head over to the lawns near the Eiffel Tower and have a little picnic. We picked up some yummy french wine and snacks and found private little spot with a perfect view the the tower where he popped the question
