Graduation Gift for Aunt? (~$500-700 range)

Hi All,
It's been a long time since I've been to PS but I knew exactly where to go once I got my Aunt's graduation annoucement in the mail last week. She is in her 50's and I am SO proud of her for earning her first ever bachelor's degree.

She's been there for all of my big events in life and does not have any children of her own, so I want to get her something special. She has a petite build, is very modern, and lives/works in the West Los Angeles (Beverly Hills) area.

I know my budget isn't going to get me too far, but I think there must be one nice set of earrings or a necklace out there that would be perfect for her.

I saw some slane&slane pieces yesterday that I thought would be nice, but is it just overpriced costume jewelry? I don't think she's the david yurman type. Please help!

Maybe a bezel set aquamarine or even a small bezel diamond pendant? Any and all suggestions welcome - thank you!!

I never bought from WF, but many PSers did and they all were satisfied with the quality of their jewels.
 
Purple silk and Enerchi, thank you so much for taking the time to dig up some ideas for me. I have emails in to BGD and Whiteflash to see what they can help me with.

I sent a note to about the bezel set diamond earrings on DB and am waiting to hear back.

I'm starting to realize that diamonds are probrably out of my budget so now I'm thinking a bezel set blue sapphire (her birthstone) would be nice.

I'll let you know what I decide. If anyone else has any other suggestions please feel free to share! Thanks!
 
I don't know your aunt's tastes, but, to celebrate a special moment in my life, I'd like to receive a nice diamond or a small designer jewel.

Hi there

I have these stud earrings from Canturi in white gold with diamonds which were I think $1600. They make it in plain white or yellow gold too and Im sure they are in the price range that you are after.

Very simple and elegant design and i wear it all the time =)
