My hair has a bit of grey here and there and I''m 36.

Hmmm....really? I always wondered. Didn''t Samantha from SATC dye hers and it looked like bobo the clown! Not a good look

That was pretty funny! The whole theater just screamed with laughter!

Ha ha! It''s really bad when one eyebrow goes gray and the other doesn''t!! yep - It happened to me - Now they''re evenly salt and pepper which I fill in with a tawny color eyebrow powder like Smashbox. I''ve gone to med ash blond from my natural medium brown because the roots were coming in too light from the gray. I wish I was brave enough to do a lovely silver (hopefully lovely!)

I started getting stray gray hairs in my late thirties, and now at 54, I think I''d probably be mostly gray

I first noticed gray in my dark brown hair when I was in college. I kept hoping for a nice dramatic streak of white off to one side, but that didn''t happen. Neither did a nice, even, salt-and-pepper transition, so I started coloring my hair about 20 years ago. I color my own hair. I used to add my own highlights, but last year gave up on semi-permanent colors and reddish browns because I HATE how they fade. The permanent dark brown is a lot harder to highlight. I''d really like to let my natural color -- whatever it is now (

) grow out at some point. But -- I''m afraid my hair will be more white than silver, and I''m not looking forward to the growing out process. So for now, I keep putting that stuff on my head.

For those who are ready to take the silver plunge, there is a website devoted to going gray:

I am 26 and no grey. When I do go grey, I will use henna products to color.

All natural, no chemicals. Just they way I like it!

I''m only 27 and my hair dresser has found gray hairs near the back of my head. I don''t even care about that though, my hair is THINNING!!!

To the point I am now using Rogaine and praying for results!! The rest of me is in great shape, but none of my family members have a lot of hair.

Soocool: no, the rest is not as good, trust me! I will need knee replacements before 60 (from my dad) and I gained 30 lbs in the last 4 years (from my dad). The Hair IS the only good thing!

Most colorists will be happy to apply a little color to your brows, which is called brow tinting...and this is usually done when you''re at the shampoo bowl, and takes no more than 5 minutes. Many people, who aren''t graying at all get brow tints simply to make their hair for a more natural look. Some salons don''t even charge for this since they will use left over color that didn''t make it onto your hair.

Most people''s brows take a very long, long, long time to turn white...and most usually gray first. Express your fears to your stylist next time you see her/him and I''m sure they will set up a nice plan of attack for you.

Henna is really scary. It is almost totally impossible to remove from your hair, and usually only colors hair red....period, thats it. Bravo for being brave enough to use it.
