GRRR . My ring is still not done!!

Ok, I''ve been clam. Gone about my business like I don''t know that I am about to be engaged or that I am getting married next september. FF told me that he has been calling non stop to find out when the ring will be ready and he told me that it could be 6 -8 weeks! WHAT!!!! I mean, its already been over 4!!! The thought of waiting another month is killing me. Ok, its fine...its just a month but I''m so excited to share details with my friends and family that I can''t wait. Oh well. Please tell me that a month is nothing!!!!

First off, that really sucks that it''s taking longer than you both thought, but... that must mean that they''re putting extra time and care into making your beautiful ring, right?? Also, a month or two might seem like a long time, but honestly that time will go by SO fast! And it will definitely be worth all the waiting once your FF presents it to you and says those 4 little words. Happy waiting! Hopefully time will fly by!!

6-8 weeks is entirely normal if you are having a custom-made piece. Some people''s have taken MUCH longer.

I know it''s tough but time will pass faster than you think, and before you know it the ring will be on your finger and all the waiting will be worth it!

I waited 5 weeks for my ring to be ready, only to realize that we had to send it back to be re-done. I actually got to wear it for a week before sending it back, and just got it back after waiting another 4 weeks. So I know your pain! Hang in there and keep yourself busy to keep your mind off of it

You guys are the best. Thanks for helping me calm my mind. To make things easier we went to visit our church an reception locaiton today. We are offically getting married Sept. 19th 09!!!!

Yes, just keep reminding yourself that they are taking longer just means they are spending a good deal of time making sure it''s perfect.

A month is nothing...really! I''d start a 6 week countdown and that way if it gets done early you''ll be totally surprised, and it''ll be even better!
