No engagement, but he did have ''the talk'' with my dad today....one step closer!

The weekend was wonderful, but he told me up front that he was meeting my father on Sunday to ask for my hand in marriage. He didn''t want me to be disapointed after the weekend. I just laughed and said "that would have been nice to know 2 months ago". lol I am having so much fun with it!

A very emotional weekend for me...it didn''t workout the way I anticipated, but we drank the champagne anyway! lol

Not that I want to stir things up for you - but why do you think it didn''t happen? Do you reckon he has a particular date/time in mind and it was just never going to be this weekend? I am totally baffled by the male mind sometimes!! You think "this is a perfect scenario for X, Y and Z to occur" and then nup, nothing...

I really hope it happens for you soon. I am starting to go a little crazy, so I can understand where you are coming from!!

Wow-he sounds so like my bf. He wants it to be "right" too!! I feel the same though in that if he wants to do it properly, let him do his thing.
