I also got a few other things today so could be a very heavy picture thread. BTW, I know I haven''t even shared my collection...ugh..there''s a lot to photograph. I may get around to that, there''s some nice ones in there.

At any rate, here''s what came in this week.

Zircon champagne color 6.36mm round 1.40ct

Here it is again. I pulled back from the window to get a better shot of how its cut.

Its fairly hard to get a good pic of this stone.

Next, Settings: So far I only have 2. I know jew2004 isn''t a lot of people''s favorite but, it was cheap. At any rate, I think its got nice clean lines which I like a lot.

Not a great picture, but heres the front. I didn''t upgrade anything. Diamonds are ok at least to me. also, the settings looks finished inside which I like.

Let me try that again

The garnet is GORGEOUS! What kind of cut is that? It almost looks like steps.

I think its a mixed cut

I had a little problem but here''s the 2nd setting. Its from LOGR. Its very dainty and sparkly.

In it I put my 3ct teal zircon. Under bulbs its much more green and under natural light its much more blue.

Here''s a different angle.

Here it is with the Honey Zircon (I have lots of zircon)

lastly, here it is with the Rhodelite Garnet

I have a few more things that may show up on friday.

Arcadian,
How fun - all the stones are cut so nicely and the settings are lovely. Looks like you''ve been a busy shopper lately.

yeah, unfortunate for my pocketbook

I have one other setting coming and 3 more stones. I don''t really wear rings, but according to my mother, I''m getting old now so need to have some decent pieces aside from my ering (my mom is so old fashioned)

I have another spess coming. This one will be from Bob Kast. He cut the aqua and the champagne zircon. I have a Australian blue sapphire coming as well as a spinel. Its a violet/blue/titanium color so I more or less got it because the picture looked interesting. The sapphire is a cornflower blue, or so it looked by the pics.

All of you here are such enablers.

At least Bob is not pricey. You can buy four or five stones for the cost of one stone somewhere else. Can''t wait to see your other stones, and I have that same oval LOGR in 18K rose gold. It''s a beautiful and delicate setting. I posed a bunch of stones in it in another thread.

Thanks CCN. I got a feeling my sapphire will be NOWHERE as beautiful as yours. But I have to say that hanging around here has really helped me know what to look for.

TL, I''ll probably always buy Bobs stuff because mainly, they''re cheap and also, they almost always are fantastically cut. I remember seeing your LOGR setting. I thought it looked really hot. I''m a little scared what pink gold would look like on me though.
