Guest List Issues!!

Out of my one group of friends there was one couple I could not invite due to space capacity. Since we have upgraded to a bigger room now, I can invite that couple and a few other people. Save the dates were sent out a month ago and I think they know save the dates were sent

Question is...
1) do I send them a save the date now
2) do I scrap sending them a save the date and just send an invite when they all go out in July
3) do I not invite them at all

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I think that I would probably just send them out an invite. You could probably pass it off then as if their save the date was lost in the post. I would definitely invite them though if you want them there.

Ditto what Bee said. And then talk to them casually about the wedding so that they know they will be invited. As in "Oh, we just got X settled for the wedding. We really hope you guys are going to be there with us, by the way! Invitations will go out in month x"

I'd just lie. I'd call and tell them you found their unmailed save the date when you were cleaning/organizing... and that you were wondering if they wanted it, or if they are fine just getting an invitation. ETA: bee's idea. Which avoids lying, is better. I like that one better.

I agree. We had this issue as well recently. We weren''t sure if we''d be able to invite a friend''s parents so we didn''t send them a save the date (although their daughter, my friend, did receive one). We''re planning on sending an invitation to her parents now, and we''ll mention the wedding casually to them when we see them next. We do want them to know they''re included.
