Guys: would you tell your g/f about this fourm?

Hey, I think this fourm is great, I''''ve learned a lot from it, and I''''d love to tell my girlfriend (fiance to be) about it...but I''''m worried she''''d see everyone here with their gianormous rings and start to get envious! Does anyone else share my fear, even if it is irrational?

I see your point.........my fiancee got mad at me when I was asking her to look at diamonds on here just to get an idea as to what she liked.

Not irrational at all. PS def. skews your view of what "normal" is in terms of size. If she''s someone who gets jealous easily or always wants something bigger and better, don''t show her for your own sanity. If she''s a cool girl who''s content to just oogle the diamond **** as we call it and love her ring for what it is, send her over!

I am having so much fun picking the upgrade for my wedding ring that I would think your fiance would enjoy the "hunt", too. SMTR (show me the ring) forum is great to help define what setting she might like, and there are so many beautiful rings with all sizes of diamonds that for me, instead of making me want a bigger diamond, (well, ok, bigger than my current 1/5 of a carat) I see how beautiful my .8 carat is going to be. Its the journey that can be so much fun, and you both will get a better understandng of how the two of you make decisions together. If you can't trust her to to fall in love with a $30K diamond and stamp her feet until she gets it you need to know that NOW

So I say MILK it for all the fun you can get

Its a fun ride. I want my daughter to look here when she gets engaged cos she think she only wants TIffany and I want her to see more options beyond that, but she's always been a name-brand kind of kid.

now guys...answer me this...do you get upset when your gf/fiancee, doesn''t ask for an upgrade? giggle...well ask strm - the jaw dropping is probably worth the surprise of the upgrade and her not knowing ;} giggle...but now that I think about it, maybe I took too long to say "yes" the first time, cuz he told me I didn''t take as long to say it the second time - giggle
