I''m thinking of this style. Any ideas on what the front should look like with this type of style? Also, the hair jewelry in the picture would perfectly match my ivory and champagne dress, but I''ve envisioned hair pins with small pearls on the end and pins with small crystals also. It would look like pearls and crystals randomly placed in my hair.

Also, I want to set a makeup trial on the same day but I''m not sure where I want to go. My fiance specifically asked that I not go to MAC because he thinks they go a little overboard. He doesn''t realize that wedding makeup is completely different. I would bring a picture of course. What about Sephora? They do free applications, but I wonder if I could bring in a picture of what I want.

I love that hair style...hmmm I think the front would be loosely swept back. Like this?

I think it would look good with both the jewelry and the pins scattered about, as long as they were small and didn''t compete, which it sounds like they are!

If you like a bit going on in the front, I really like this (she''s so gorgeous). Sorry these are all brunette!

I think the updo in the picture is lovely! Its very romantic and whimsical...very bridal!

But, I don''t think you need to over do the hair by adding tons and tons of hair jewelry. If you found the hair clip as seen in the picture that would be perfect. If you add pearls and rhinestone tipped bobbypins, you''re going to lose the elegance and end up looking like you''re going to your Junior Prom or something. Remember, with bridal hair, less is more. Oh, and don''t forget to bring the clip or whichever you choose to use to your trial, obviously.

As far as the makeup is concerned...I still wouldn''t suggest using "counter girls" for important applications like your wedding day...but I can still answer your question...

Yes, minimal makeup applications at Sephora are free--like "mmm, this shadow is really pretty, I wonder how it would look?" they will happily demonstrate it for you, and sell it to you, too. But, for bridal applications, you must make an appointment. Now, be forewarned that they will try to sell you every product they use on you, and the service will be less consultation and more education. If that doesn''t bother you, then you''ll be in good hands since the majority of Sephora MUA are well trained. I''m not sure what the price is for bridal applications--it may work on a sliding incentive scale, meaning if you buy product the service cost may be less...if you buy "x" your service charge will go down, by "y" and it goes down again, by "x,y,z" and it''s free. But, I could be wrong...however, last time I did education there that is how they explained it worked to me.

Ooh I like it! I hope I can describe what I''m thinking for the front...but I''m picturing piecy sections, kinda like the Jessica Alba pic above, but more defined and, well, piecy. I think Rebecca Romijn may have had like it at some point... Very tousley and volumous. Now I''m just making up words...hope that makes sense.

I think I know what hairstyle you are talking about, I''m pretty sure Heidi Klum on PR wore her hair like that recently too!

I know at the Sephora near me, they will TEACH you how to do your makeup, but won''t actually make appointments to do it for you. Robbie tried to use them, but even if she wanted to come in on her wedding day to have them "teach" her, they wouldn''t give her an appointment, so it didn''t work out.

I don''t want tons of jewelry, I just thought 6 pins with little pearls and/or crystals would look nice. I do like the clip in the picture...not sure where to find one like that. Any ideas?

I may just suck it up and go to MAC for the trial. There, if you buy $40 worth of makeup, they do a free app. You can never have too much makeup I guess.

Jessica Alba makes me sick. Ha!

I don''t think that style would fit my face. I feel like I have a wider jaw line and a little bit bigger forehead, so I think the swept over look would look better. I just wasnt sure how that would look with the curls even though it''s an up do.
