Soooooo I had a hair trial on Friday...BUT, because of some craziness, the stylist had very little time to do my trial. She did a very quick job, so I''d love to hear opinions on whether I should change anything.

The day of the wedding the curls will be neater, the ''poof'' would be looser and not as higher, and my bangs will be round brushed so it''s not as flat. Also, the pins on the back will be invisible and cleaner.

I added extensions, and I''ve never had my hair done....so I felt a little out of place post-trial. Is it too much? Does it look too ''done-up''? All suggestions and opinions are welcome. If you guys think it looks awful, I can try and re-schedule another trial.

Also, I didn''t get many nice/clear pictures. Hope these work.

Back. Hair comb will not be visible when done properly!

And finally, front view...at the end of the night (so around 7 hours after I had my hair done).

kama, sorry if you''re still posting pics, but you are so gorgeous!!! I think your hair looks great but I''m not really crazy about the extensions as they look too thin in the last 3-4 inches of hair. Are you looking for extra length? Volume? Both?? How long is your hair without the extensions?

Thanks for your input, Sammyj (and your sweet comment *blush*)! I agree, I feel the extensions might be too long. The wedding is 2 months away, so I''m hoping my hair grows out a little more - but if it doesn''t I was thinking of taking my extensions to my hair stylist at my final cut/colour before the wedding and have her trim them to suit my hair length better. Right now, my hair comes to just under my shoulders when straight.

Stupid me, I cut off >10 inches of hair last year, when I knew I''d wanted to keep my hair long and not tied up for the wedding. I wasn''t thinking

I agree that the extensions are too thin towards the bottom, but I think overall it''s a great look -- you''re beautiful!

I think that style is very sophisticated and classic! It really suits you

I''m sure the extensions will be fine if you get them cut so they blend in with your hair.

wow! i think your hair looks awesome and i can''t even see the extensions - i think its looks natural and perfect! i dont think anyone will notice them either. i think they are great, the hair looks awesome and you are beautiful - i second that one!

Wow! I love the way your hair looks!!! I can see in one picture- the one with your jacket on in daylight how the extensions look a little thin on the bottom, but otherwise your hair looks amazing!

Your hair looks amazing!!! Ditto on the hair extensions, they need a little bit of work, but overall, the look is great for you!

Kama you are stunning! I agree with the extensions being too thin at the bottom. Perhaps either cut to where it begins to thin out or have the stylist do thinner curls up top. But you really are beautiful and the style looks fabulous on you!

I think your hair looks amazing (I love the color, too, btw). It looks very soft and romantic, and I think it''ll hold up wonderfully (esp. if that''s how it looked 7 hrs later!).

You''re very pretty, btw. The pieces around your face are so nice.

Oh my word. Thank you for all the lovely comments: mscushion, Dannielle, iloveprincesscuts, JerseyGrl81, honey22, fieryred33143 and DearBuddha

I am so so so very relieved that you ladies find the hair acceptable. I wasn''t quite sure what to expect, and the big hair was a tad bit overwhelming at first. I wasn''t even sure if the style suits me!!

As for the extensions, I was wondering if adding more towards the back might help? My stylist didn''t end up using all the hair pieces, so I''m thinking if she adds more it wouldnt be as thin? The other alternative would be to have my usualy hair stylist to cut the extensions in layers?

I''m feeling much better about the hair trial now. Thank you all for the replies, you girls are just so awesome!

Wow, Kama, you are stunning!

Does your natural hair end a couple inches below your shoulders, where the extensions start to taper? If so, I honestly would prefer it without the extensions. But, otherwise, I think it looks great!

I loveeeeeeeeee it! It''s so soft and romantic! It''s exactly how I want my hair to be except when I went for my hair trial she put way too much product in and it looked chunky. I can''t tell you have extensions at all!!!! It''s really beautiful !!! Your hair color is stunning by the way...

Thanks Katamari!

Yeah, I think my hair ends where the strands begin to get wispy thin. I think you''re right - I was asking Mr. Kama if I should even bother with the extensions or not. I''m hoping my hair grows a bit till June so it''ll be a tad bit longer!

I think it looks gorgeous and exactly how I''d picture my daughter''s hair when she gets married! I''m saving this thread!

Yikes! My stylist used a heck lot of product on my hair too, because I have super thin fine hair. But I dont think it showed too too much.

Thanks for your lovely comments ILTW. I saw some of your inspiration pics in your hair jewelry thread and I think we are going for the same feel :)

WOW, you are gorgeous.

When I did my hair trial my hair looked huge, but then when I looked at photos it looked great. My hairstylist said something to me about updo''s like that: she said that models and stars are used to seeing themselves glammed up, or dressed down. They are used to looking different, but most people aren''t so they don''t feel very self concious even though they look fabulous. And that is certainly the case with you. The height on the hair really works. I love it. I think your hair looks great.

Love it

You look amazing, Kama! That style is so dreamy! I actually think I like your natural length of hair. You definitely can''t tell that there was a bunch of product used--it looks shiny and touchable.

I really like it, especially the front. It''s very soft and romantic.

Kama, you look amazing! It''s a great look on you. Beautiful!

I totally loved all the pictures when you were posting the sides & back. Then you posted the front and I immediately thought "ooooh, dreamy and SEXY!" I think it''s definitely a keeper!

You are GORGEOUS!!!!!

The style suits you, and it looks very beautiful. I know that you posted with concerns, but from an outsider''s perspective, just looking at photos? You look ready to walk down the aisle. Totally, totally stunning. It''s romantic and sophisticated. It looks like red-carpet hair, really. And you look impeccable!

Now, onto those concerns:

How do you feel, as a bride, that there were complications the day of the trial, and you felt rushed, etc.? And now, in the name of "getting it down pat" you''ll have to pay for another trial (because of the stylist''s scheduling/time snafus?)

Those are the little piddling things that would drive me crazy, but that''s just my neurotic self. Unless the hair trial payment is applied to your day-of bill, I''d be feeling like I didn''t get what I paid for, know what I mean?

So, you look perfect, and the hair is gorgeous, but maybe have a small conversation about what can be done to keep the scheduling on track for the day-of, and asking her what you can do/provide to make sure she has the time she needs to get it perfect?

Because you deserve to be able to relax and be totally confident that your service providers have their part down....
