About a week ago my BF and I had another long talk after the date he had given me came and went. He let it slip that it was going to be a bit longer, but that he''d ordered a stone. It came in this week! So, here are some pictures of the diamond and the specs:

I''ve been staring at it every day! I found out last week that I have astigmatism and need to get glasses. I can''t wait until my glasses come in so I can see it more clearly.

I''m leaning toward a cathedral setting with v-prongs (the ones that look like picture frame corners). I''m a little worried that it might feel too tall, though! I love the way it looks, but I''m still looking at other settings with lower profiles to see if there''s anything that sparks my interest.
