Halo ring side stones size calculator?

I have a tiny ruby, 6x4 oval. i am wondering what's the best size for the side stone for halo ring.

Is there a simple calculator for this?

Not a perfect example since my gem is round and 6.9mm the smaller diamonds are 2mm, the larger ones at the ends are 3mm.

I also don’t think 6mm gem is tiny

That ruby is synthetic, but if it measures 6x4 like the listing says, I estimate those diamonds to be 1mm. So, 12 1mm stones around another 6x4 oval ruby.
