Halos with round diamond?

Hey everyone! if anyone has pictures that look close the tiffanys legacy ring but with a round center diamond could you please post them . im looking for pictures to take to a jeweler this wednesday and i am looking into getting a halo setting similar to the tiffanys but with a round cut. thanks for everyones help.

I imagine that if they are capable of setting the halo and the band as well as you may like, then you the job of making the setting should not come as a challenge. That said, there are some some great examples here already posted. I know, I just followed a few threads.

I can't say for sure if this is made inhouse of what, but a similar setting is made by Adwar (a casting company) from which your jeweler could source it. I do not know if just any jeweler can - perhaps there is need of some longer term affiliation.. or something. You can always ask if they can get a version of the Legacy ring - there seem to be enough sources for them already.

How good such a ring will turn out depends on how well the pre-made setting fits your stone and the finish done by the jeweler. And you can always have one custom made too - if the default option fails. But then... custom work depende entirely on the person doing it and your luck at guessing the probable results

Down this page there is one such ring made by Diamonds by Lauren for a 2 carat square-ish cushion. That was custom made, so it is easy to imagine one for a round stone too.

Also, Icestore has a version of the small legacy ring HERE again... custom and do-able for rounds if you wish. Thse guys have lots of other related ring stiles as well. The site is well worth browsing over a nice cup of cofee

i just wanted to thank everyone for there helpful pictures and insight.ill let u guys know how it goes my appt is at 5 tonight. i think these are the two pictures i am going to show him and ask if he can make something that resembles the pictures. so now after tonight the countdown of the wait begins. Anyone out there who picked out there ring with there bfs, how long did he have you wait till he popped the question. just curious.. hehe...

sorry about pics cant get them to show in here. oh well its basically the tiffanys legacy setting with the michael b round halo cut. if u guys can picture that. also do most jewelers do wax setting for free or do u have to pay extra? ok bye!
