Happy B-Day to Me - 1 Ct Tanzanite Ring

I've never had the opportunity to post any colored stones, so this is kinda fun!

To commemorate what a fabulous year I have had, I decided to get myself a birthday present. I bought a 1 ct tanzanite and diamond ring from Ice.com for myself. My actual birthday isn't until next week, but I am already wearing my new ring.

The stones change from a pale periwinkle to a deeper iris blue depending on the lighting. The diamonds are just little chips, but that's not why I bought the ring, lol. I wasn't sure if I would like the yellow gold setting, but it's growing on me. I suppose I could get it plated later if I change my mind. Ice.com shipped quickly and the ring looks pretty well made.
